Not that long ago, my maths group we have been learning about adding fractions using place value. Look at my presentation to see how I work out the questions. On each side there is also a question in words.
I have been reading this book called Judy Moody Get's Famous and here's a little blurb about it... Crazy strip contest - that's where it all started! But when she didn’t win she decided to do something BIGGER! Judy Moody is driving her family crazy by throwing out everything that comes from the rain forest. Such as Dads coffee beans and Mum’ s lipstick. But then she might have gone too far by letting Stink’s pet toad free! So how can she whip the planet into shape?
For maths, the task was to learn about a mathematician who has made an impact on the world and complete a research project and present it in a google slide, video or a poster for the wall. I have chosen to research Hedy Lamarr. Here is my google slides:
