Not that long ago, my maths group we have been learning about adding fractions using place value. Look at my presentation to see how I work out the questions. On each side there is also a question in words.
For maths, the task was to learn about a mathematician who has made an impact on the world and complete a research project and present it in a google slide, video or a poster for the wall. I have chosen to research Hedy Lamarr. Here is my google slides:
QUESTION: What Is the most Popular lunch idea at Awahono school? Our new ideas are: Chicken salad - Fish and chips - Macaroni and cheese - Fruit salad - Fairy Bread - Toasties - Jelly and burgers. PURPOSE: We are finding out what sort of food each person likes so we can change the food from jelly cups and burgers each week. DATA GATHERING: We went to each classroom and lined the people up then we asked the people what they liked most for school lunches. This data was collected on 27-2-15 GRAPH: CONCLUSION: The most popular lunch idea is fish and chips and the least popular is fruit salad and chicken salad.
