My book reports
My book Tom gates, The best book day ever (so far) I would say is a good book. It is about this boy called Tom Gates and at his school they are doing a book parade where you choose a book and dress up as a character from the book you chose. Tom chose a book called Alien Scale Monsters-In space. He chose to dress up as one of the scale monsters in his book. His Mum helps him make his costume, but wearing a biscut tin on your head and cat pajamas covered in scales that fall of easily!
I recomend this book for 7-9 year olds. This is a good book for that age range because it has lots of pictures in it and it is quite easy to read.
FlitterWig by Edrei Cullen
My book FlitterWig is about these magical creatures that come to earth to find Ella Montergomery, a flitterwig which means a human with magicial powers. The magicial creatures have come to find Ella because as the prophcey says only the clear heart can stop the the evil Duke from detroying the kingdom of Magnus, and the Pixies are sure that Ella is the clear heart. But the magicals are taking a great risk because when they entered earth the Queen started to feel ill because of all the pulloution. Pixies cannot stay in pollution too long nethier can elves. But the other reason they need to find Ella not just to stop the duke but to open the way to Mangus which only the clearhart can do.
I recomend this book for 9-11 year olds.
Just a dog by Michael Gerard Bauer
This is a sad a good book at the same time. It is a about a dalmation called Mr Mosely. It is a book that tells people about the dogs life and hardest and SADEST times. This is what the blurb on the back of this book says: Mr Mosely isn’t a pedigreed dog but he is just the dog Corey and his family want, he is loyal, protective and loving. And he is much more than that. He might as well be the one thing that holds them all together.
I recomend this book for 10-12 years old.
The Doll Graveyard by Lois Ruby
The Doll Grave Yard is one of the haunting books. It is about when Shelby and Brian Tate move into their new house that belonged to their Anut Ameila before she died of old age. But Shelby and brian are learning the storys of the old kids that lived in there house. The first owners had a daughter called Saddie. And her dad bought her heaps of porcilean dolls. She loved her dolls until there came one time. She even had a miniture version of here own house, which Shelby found. When Shelby found it she noticed a bump in the carpet. She looked under it and there was a trap door. She pulled it open and she felt inside and out she pulled a book and inside it were blank pages. Later on in the night Shelby went to the real carpet not the doll house one and looked under neath it. And there it was the trap door. She went inside it and pulled out the book, blank pages! For the next few days Shelby studies the book and read it under a light bulb. It had worked words were appearing! This is what the following words said: This is the incredible true adventures of Saddie Isabella Thornewood, Read it and you’ll have bad luck like me forever and ever!
…….almost finshed digging the graveyard when………...Baby daisy can’t see anything now because I scratched out her eyes with indian ink ……. This is only a little bit of what Saddie wrote but the next owner of the book also wrote in the diary …………
