My sports interview with Chris

With a buddy we had to choose  famous or retired sports person. My buddy was Chris and we chose Michael Jordan. We had to write the script that the interviewer (me) and Michael Jordan (Chris). Some of the questions in the script me and Chris wrote was "What is your shoe size?" and "do you have any children?" We then had to practice it and practice it because practice makes perfect. Once we finished practicing we started to  record or sports interview. If you would like to watch the video click on the link below... Michael Jordan

Purple mufti day

Our purple mufti day Yesterday was Epilepsy awareness day. Nearly everyone came to school with a gold coin for mufti that goes to help people with Epilepsy. Our school came dressed in purple or if we didn’t have any purple clothing we wore mufti. On the day, At lunch the teachers were selling purple jellies and purple cupcakes which the money we got from that is going with the money to help people with Epilepsy. Also when we put our coin for mufti in the office we got a purple ribbin to pin to our clothes. My book reports Tom gates, The best book day ever (so far) by Liz Pichon             My book Tom gates, The best book day ever (so far) I would say is a good book. It is about this boy called Tom Gates and at his school they are doing a book parade where you choose a book and dress up as a character from the book you chose. Tom chose a book called Alien Scale Monsters-In space. He chose to dress up as one of the scale monsters in his book. His Mum helps him make his costume, but wearing a biscut tin on your head and cat pajamas covered in scales that fall of easily! I recomend this book for 7-9 year olds. This is a good book for that age range because it has lots of pictures in it and it is quite easy to read. FlitterWig by Edrei Cullen My book FlitterWig is about these magical creatures that come to earth to find Ella Montergomery, a flitterwig which means a human with magicial powers. The magicial creatures have c...

Science Every week our classroom has been doing science experiments in which everyone is taking part in. We got to choose our science experiment and I chose to make a lava lamp.  The list below is what you need to do to make this and what you need: What you need: Water A clear plastic bottle Vegetable oil Food colouring Alka-seltzer (or other tablets that fizz) Instructions: Pour water until around one quarter full (might want to use a funnel). Pour in vegetable oil until the bottle is nearly full. Wait until the oil and water has separated. Add around a dozen drop of food colouring to the bottle (any colour) Watch as the food colouring falls through the oil and mixes with the water. Cut a Alka-seltzer into smaller pieces (around six or five) drop one piece into the bottle, things should start happening now just like a real lava lamp. Keep adding more pieces in and enjoy the show! You need to keep adding more Alka-s...

My Artwork Recently it was my birthday. For my birthday I got some paint brushes, a big piece of canvas and some red, blue, black, green and yellow paint which I can mix together to make different colou rs. So far I have painted a picture of a flower, I even painted my skateboard, And I wrote my first name, my middle name and my last name on three spearate blocks that I am planning to drill a whole in the middle of all three blocks then put a nail through so it will spin. I also drew a picture on the canvas I got (I didn’t know what to draw on it, I just drew what came into my mind) The pictures that you see are the pictures of what I have painted……

Nobby Today Nobby came to our school to teach us ripper rugby. We played a game of touch which we all wanted to play. The leaders of the blue and green team were Jordan and Jenna. I was on Jordans team, the green team and Jenna's team was full with other girls, no boys. We started off quite good. Jenna's team scored the first try. After that Jordan kept telling us to go forward, move back and stay in the line all the time because most of the people in the time didn’t do that. What I learnt today: Today I learnt that you need to work better together instead of telling other people to do this and that.

We are learning to use graphs and how to do a statistical investigation. We have learnt that when we find out something we collect the data, write an conclusion and pose a question with a purpose. We are using graphs to find out about real life situations. Here is an example:
