Touch Typing

Everyday in our classroom for at least 10 minutes we practice Touch Typing. We do this to get better at typing with the right fingers on the right home keys. Here is the link if you want to check it out:

I have been working on lesson 8: H&G and today I got 100% under 30 seconds. Here is an image of it:

My goal is to get up to level  60 by the end of term 4. Here is a few images that show close I am to achieving that goal...


At the moment I need to work on level 22.

I worked with Zara and Nina and made a cardboard house with a lighting system.  P ositive - M inus - I nteresting ` A positive thing about our invention was we got the job done quickly.   A minus thing about our invention was  we didn't really work as a team, we were kinda doing our own thing.  A interesting thing about our invention was  we tried a lot of different ways for everything to work properly.  I think this project was a much better was of assessing our knowledge than doing a test.  Here is the link for some more info about what we did:  Electrical inventions worksheet  Here is a video of our lighting system:

Techniques for Music

Today in music the techniques I am working on is practising my transitions between chords and trying to find the right chords on the piano. .  I practised both techniques. To try and get my transitions right between changing chords I slowed down so I could find the right chords. The piece of music I was trying to practice was just starting to come together.
