My Bullying Poems

BULLYING Cries and screams come from the corridors. Loud footsteps come towards me. She tries to talk but his voice is a void. Her tears fall silently down her bruised face. She says the names but it’s all a gabble. She picks up her bag and walks out the door. Other people stare as she walks head down, down the corridor. No one helps her or try to cheer her up. Whispers and sniggers are heard from the crowd as she disappears through the door, lonely. No one is the same 😢 Why push and bully me around just because I am different from you? All people aren’t the same, some like different things than others. All human beings have something in common, they are a human being. So why bully me when I am like you, a human being? All people are different from you and you don’t have to bully them because of that reason. You may bully other people because they are NOT a bully. But I am telling you now! No one is the same so why be a bully?

The West Coast Wilderness Bike Trail

Image
Yesterday we did The West Coast Wilderness Trail. We biked for about 3-4 hours. We biked 25km from Greymouth to Kumara. At the end, we got hot chips and hot chocolate because all though the trail was very long we made it. The whole trail is 4 days long and you will bike 139km. We only biked Greymouth to Kumara. We also biked over the Tumarmaku bridge which was very exciting. On the trail we biked over a swing bridge. Here are some photos: Me and Katie at the Theartre hotel.

Six sentence story

In our classroom we are learning to write six sentence storys. Mr's Ealam gave us a picture which was of 3 kids on water floats on the sea, I chose to only do one character. Below is my six sentence story: THE WAVE I am floating on my water float, just me, Linda the extraordinary, utmost and supreme swimmer EVER! Turning and looking at my home I see that my Dad is squinting at me from the balcony of the blue beach house, shaking his head. ‘Splatter!’ I swan dive into the clear blue water down into the depths of the ocean, holding my breath for more than a minute 30 seconds. I do it again, this time diving deeper and deeper as I start to leave my breath behind me. I feel as if I am suffocating, my breath is turning into void, floating away from my body. Desperately needing air I feel powerful muscly arms wrapping around my waist, pulling me to the surface.

Tangaroa Masks

Not that long ago our classroom made Tangaroa Masks. Watch the slide show to know the legend: The gift of Tangaroa. Also click on the link to know how to make them. https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/16VMqUZP0YyWGDnj8RSSxc8nH3Whs0UWnGxb8pbE2a_o/edit

Basketball

On Friday my Basketball team versed Papora. It was fun because I didn’t know anyone in the Papora team so I didn’t know how good they were. At the end of the game the scores were PAPORA-16 and AWAHONO-15 . If my team scored one more goal we would have won but unfortunately we didn’t .
