  Just last week, on Friday, Room 5 arrived back at school. Most of Room 5 seemed quite tired as they had travelled from Hanmer Springs to school. They had a awesome time and lots of them had said they had loads of fun!

In Room 6, we have been working on a play based on the story of the Lorax with Room 1. This is what we had to find out.....

I have been working on mathletics recently, here are some of my results:

Quite a long time ago we had Pets Day. I brought my rabbit Daisy. I won 2 nd place for the senior rabbit section and I got a award for outdoor activities for encouraging others. 

Recently I made it into West Coast Athletics. I made it into... High Jump Relays 60 metres sprint 100 metres sprint  I had a lot of fun at West Coast Athletics and my legs are still sore. 

Not long ago we wrote speeches on our chosen topic. We learnt to: Write a speech Speak confidently in front of others Project our voice We had to say our speech in front of our whole school and some judges (teachers from our school). My speech was informing you why a dog for a pet is a brilliant choice. At the end 5 people were chosen and they had to say their speech in about a day later to different judges. Jenna and Jordy had great speeches and were chosen to go through to the Rotary Club Speeches. Well Done! :)

Not long ago on a Friday, my class came back from our camp from Rotorua. I went on some pretty cool activities there and would love to do it all again! We made a diary for every thing we did. Here is mine...
